ECG Strip 22

ECG Strip 22 - inferior STEMI

A patient (39 years old male) has been sent by his general practitioner. Last few days he suffers from recurring chest pain, the problems worsen during physical exertion. The pain is burning and localized behind the sternum. The patient's father suffered from a heart attack in 45 years of age. The ECG shows deep Q and ST elevations in III and aVF. The condition is evaluated as a subacute STEMI infarction of the inferior heart wall. Local cardio center confirms the diagnosis (closure of the right coronary artery).
