ECG Strip 21

ECG Strip 21 - bifascicular block anterior STEMI

75 years old female patient treated with hypertension has been brought to our outpatient department by paramedics. The ECG contains LAFB and RBBB (bifascicular block). In addition, there are slight elevations of ST intervals in V3-V6 with “mirror” depressions of ST in II, III and aVF. The condition has been evaluated as an acute STEMI infarction of the anterior wall and the patient has been transferred to local cardio center. The diagnosis was confirmed and solved by a therapeutic coronary angiography.
